Terms and conditions of NAPCAN training workshops

Enrolment
NAPCAN enforces a minimum and maximum attendee number for each training workshop.  This number however, depends on the course and its content.  

Places are confirmed upon receipt of a registration form and payment.  Where a place is unavailable on your nominated date, you will be placed on a waitlist for the next available session.

Cancellation 
NAPCAN reserves the right to cancel or postpone workshops due to unforeseen circumstances.  We will make every effort to ensure all nominees for cancelled courses are contacted and placed on the next available session.  

Should you be unable to attend a course, a substitute registration is welcome at no extra charge, you must inform NAPCAN at least 5 working days prior to the course, additional cost will apply if notified within 5 working days. 

Should you wish to substitute another person, you must inform NAPCAN at least 5 working days prior to the course.

Should you wish to withdraw from a course, you must inform NAPCAN at least 5 working days prior to the course for a full refund.  

A refund will not be granted for no shows or cancellations received within less than 5 working days prior to the commencement date of the course.

Course fee 
The price of the course covers all course material; a workbook, manual or USB; certificate of attendance.  A full day course will also include morning/afternoon tea and a light lunch.

For Online attendees: The terms and conditions of the training and certification require that all participants, including online attendees, must have their participation verifiable at all times. This requires that all participants keep their cameras on and remain present in front of their screen for the entire duration of the training. Participants may keep themselves muted unless requested to answer questions by the trainer to verify understanding. This may occur at any point during the training. If participants do not comply with these terms and conditions, they will be ineligible for certification.

Damages/liability 
At no time is NAPCAN responsible for any damages, losses or expenses suffered or incurred in connection with any training courses you attend or are either rescheduled or cancelled.

Privacy policy 
Your personal information collected at and after registration is for NAPCAN purposes only and is not disclosed to any other organisation or agency.  However, if legally required, we reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served.
